Sales Assistant - Vienna

We are currently accepting applications from current or future mortgage industry rockstars!  The Federal Savings Bank, a national bank and mortgage lender, seeks a Mortgage Banker Assistant to support the Senior Vice President and residential lending team in our Vienna, VA office. This role is designed as a stepping stone to a successful career in residential lending.  Mortgage industry experience is not required! Responsibilities:

• Work a hybrid office schedule at least 3 days in the Vienna office. 
• Provide administrative support for the Senior Vice President
• Coordinate meetings with clients or "borrowers", realtors, title agents, and the staff at the bank as directed
• Assist with loan application intake and qualifying borrowers
• Use Encompass loan origination software to enter to update loan information and upload confidential borrower information
• Prepare reports & memos 
• Help manage and file expenses through collaboration with SVP and the corporate Accounting department
• Help onboard new Bankers or team members
• Manage payroll and bonus structures, time-card analysis, production reports and division budget
• Help generate leads for mortgage loans through email and social media marketing 
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure marketing and social media materials are in compliance with Bank policy 

Requirements:

• 2 year degree minimum requirement - 4 year degree / recent college graduate preferred
• 1+ year of experience as a Mortgage Banker Assistant/Mortgage industry or related experience in administrative assistance, reception/front desk, retail, sales, or food &  beverage/ and hospitality. 
• Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Specifically, Outlook and Excel
• Experience cold-calling over the phone
• Working social media marketing experience
• Able to type at least 35+ words a minute
• Detail-oriented and task-oriented
• Understands the usage of proper grammar and punctuation
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Exceptional organization ability
• Favorable credit history and criminal background
