Encompass Systems Tester - Chicago

The Federal Savings Bank Encompass Teste's  primary function is to assist the Vice President of Operations & Business Analysis (VPOBA) to develop, test, and launch efficient business, financial, personnel, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. The Encompass Tester is responsible for generating and compiling reports in order to answer analytical questions as posed by the project managers management team, the VPOBA or other individuals as required.  This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of system and process investments throughout the enterprise. This position will be based out of our Chicago, IL headquarters office in Logan Square.  Remote candidates will be considered on an individual basis. 

Job Functions:

  • Support and assist the Vice President of Business Analysis as required (Spoiler alert: He's a pretty rad dude and a leader in his field among Mortgage and Banking professionals)
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of TFSB’s Encompass loan origination software structure
  • Test multidimensional Encompass data using a variety of statistical and graphical tools to provide cogent and concise information for leadership.
  • Collaborate in the configuration, development, testing, and deployment of new Encompass features, functions, modules, applications, and enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison for sales and operations partners to directly request new reports or analyses in Encompass
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist other team members with completing, formatting or editing reports as needed.
  • Learn essential manufacturing processes of our business

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in business and systems analysis
  • Project Management (PMP) or Business Analysis Certification preferred
  • Certified Encompass Administrator required
  • Experience with process improvement methods (Lean-Six Sigma, Kaizen) preferred
  • Experience in the mortgage industry and with Encompass Loan origination software required
  • Ability to conduct business process analysis, gap analysis, process optimization and process risk assessment
  • Ability to identify opportunities to automate any processes for efficiencies
  • Excellent analytical, problem identification, structuring, and solving skills with the ability to design solutions
  • Experience in organizational strategy and development, systems thinking and design
  • Ability to lead, influence change and think outside the box
  • Team player and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
